Snow Plow Operator

**MUST HAVE A VALID G DRIVERS LICENSE**
**Responsibilities**:
- Operate snow plow equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and sidewalks
- Remove snow and ice from designated areas using plows, shovels, and other tools
- Monitor weather conditions and respond promptly to snowfall or icy conditions
- Follow established routes and schedules for snow removal
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of work performed
**Qualifications**:
- Experience operating snow plow equipment is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
- Ability to work in cold and challenging weather conditions for extended periods of time
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
**Skills**:
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with team members and supervisors
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques for efficient snow removal
- Understanding of garden and outdoor maintenance practices

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

- Secondary School (preferred)
**Experience**:
- Landscape maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
**Language**:
- English (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Class G Licence (preferred)
