As a strong communicator and problem solver, you'll work with the Finance team to deliver exceptional financial services within our own organization, as well as to our external partners.Highly organized with a keen eye for detail, as Accounting Clerk at OCAS you'll handle the processing of payments, receivables and disbursements, and the creation of monthly reconciliations. You'll also help organize and maintain financial records and documents, and help drive process improvements and efficiencies within the Finance team.In this role, you will:Record daily bank activityReconcile bank transactions monthlyPrepare bank deposits as neededRun the daily reconciliation of application activity and import into the enterprise resource planning (ERP) systemCalculate and issue customer invoicesEnter vendor invoices and purchase ordersSupport employees with submitting expenses, purchase orders, and vendor invoicesProvide support to staff making company credit card purchasesPrepare EFT, wire payment batches, and bank account transfers for approvalReconcile monthly corporate credit card statements and coordinate approval processPrepare month-end account reconciliations, partner settlements, and general ledger entriesMonitor aged accounts receivable / accounts payable subledgers and follow up on overdue balancesMonitor and maintain Outlook inboxes for OCAS and Financial Service partnersFulfil voucher requests from partner organizationsYou should have:High school diploma and 3-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent, with relevant post-secondary educationGood verbal and written communication skillsExperience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel at an intermediate levelPrevious work experience using automated accounting softwareAbility to build internal and external relationshipsStrong attention to detail and time management skillsInitiative to meet multiple deadlines under general supervisionPrevious administrative experience in an office environmentNice to haves:Experience in higher education or other related service industriesExperience working in Microsoft Business Central Salary per hour: $ $32.00 Position Reports to:  Team Lead, FinanceOCAS is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
