About Us

Excelsior Flooring Corp. is a fast-growing flooring import and distribution company specializing in premium vinyl flooring products sourced globally and distributed across Canada and the US. With a focus on quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, our small but agile team is seeking a Senior Accountant who can take charge of our accounting operations and help us scale.

About the Role

As our Senior Accountant, you'll lead full-cycle accounting, inventory costing, and financial reporting. You'll also play a key role in supporting our supply chain and 3PL warehouse service providers - ensuring the financial side of our operations runs smoothly and efficiently. This accounting role offers a broad range of responsibilities while maintaining a manageable workload with a relatively low volume of transactions. It's an ideal opportunity for a motivated professional looking to deepen their skills across multiple areas of accounting, gain exposure to real business operations, and apply their experience toward a CPA designation. With hands-on involvement and opportunities for professional development (including management roles), this role is perfect for someone ready to take the next step in their accounting career.

We understand that no candidate will check every box, and we're committed to supporting the right person in growing into the role. Comprehensive training will be provided for any areas where you're still developing—whether that's inventory costing, supply chain processes, or specific accounting software. You'll have the opportunity to learn directly from experienced team members and gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment. If you're eager to learn, proactive, and ready to expand your skill set, we'll give you the tools and guidance to succeed.
