About the Role

We are seeking a responsible, organized, and people-oriented Rental Coordinator to manage a shared detached home with 9 private rooms (ranging from $750 – $1,100/month). The property serves working professionals and students, and is located in a convenient area within walking distance to a busy SkyTrain station.

Your main focus will be ensuring 100% occupancy and maintaining good communication with tenants (typically minimal maintenance or support required). This role is ideal for someone with strong initiative, reliability, and interest in housing coordination or property management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Post and update rental listings across multiple platforms (e.g. Facebook Marketplace, Kijiji, Craigslist, etc.)
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and schedule showings
  • Conduct tenant screenings and reference checks
  • Prepare rental agreements and coordinate move-ins/outs
  • Monitor occupancy and maintain basic tenant communication
  • (Optional) Cleaning, gardening and other maintenance work available.

Compensation

  • 10% of rent received per successful tenant placement, paid monthly
  • Additional hourly compensation available for expanded duties (negotiable)
  • Housing option: A private room may be provided as part of your compensation package if desired

Ideal Candidate

  • Highly responsible and self-motivated
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Prior experience in property management, leasing, or customer service is an asset
  • Comfortable managing multiple listings and schedules
  • Reliable, professional, and able to maintain positive tenant relations

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $75.00-$800.00 per month
