**Wanted: Head Bicycle Mechanic / Service Manager - Bicycle Cafe, Canmore**

Bicycle Cafe in Canmore is seeking an experienced, skilled, and passionate Head Bicycle Mechanic / Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in the bicycle repair industry, with expertise in a variety of services, including e-bikes, suspension systems, and wheel building.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead daily shop operations, managing service workflow and ensuring quality control

  • Oversee bike repairs, complete bike tunes and build high end bicycles

  • Handle warranty claims efficiently and professionally

  • Place booking orders and manage shop inventory to ensure all parts and tools are stocked

  • Hire, train, and mentor staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure timely and efficient service completion

**Requirements:**

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in bicycle repair, including e-bikes and advanced mechanical services

  • Strong experience with suspension systems, wheel building, and processing warranty claims

  • Ability to manage inventory and place booking orders

  • Proven leadership skills in hiring, training, and managing a team

  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for cycling

  • Ability to handle complex mechanical issues with precision and efficiency
