Job Description: We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Mechanic for an immediate start in Canmore, AB. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of CAT equipment and possess the skills to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various heavy-duty machinery. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to work in a dynamic environment with a competitive wage package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic assessments and troubleshooting of CAT equipment
  • Conduct repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty machinery, including engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and more
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures
  • Maintain accurate records of service work performed
  • Collaborate with team members and management to address equipment issues promptly

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a heavy-duty mechanic, specifically with CAT equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license
  • Red Seal certification or equivalent is an asset, but not required

Position is based in Canmore, with travel potential throughout the Bow Valley: travel between multiple work sites is standard in a company truck. No staff accommodation is available. Hourly rate is based on experience - overtime paid.
