Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in customer service, sales, and automotive repair, with the ability to assess vehicle damage accurately and provide estimates for repairs.

Duties:

  • Assess vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates

  • Interact with customers to explain repair estimates and address any questions or concerns

  • Collaborate with the body shop team to ensure timely and efficient repair processes

  • Utilize mechanical knowledge to evaluate repair needs and recommend appropriate services

  • Upsell additional services or repairs as needed while maintaining customer satisfaction

  • Maintain detailed records of estimates, repairs, and customer interactions

  • Order required parts and materials in a timely and accurate manner

  • Schedule jobs and coordinate work assignments effectively

  • Plan and organize repair activities to ensure efficient workflow and minimal downtime

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair setting preferred

  • Mechanical knowledge to assess vehicle damage accurately

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience in sales and interacting with cutomers
