Chimo Youth Retreat Centre is looking to hire a full-time Administrative Assistant Reception to support the operations of the Chimo Youth Retreat Centre, a not-for-profit that provides support to children, youth and families in Edmonton. The candidate for this position will;

The duties include;

  • Welcome visitors and callers at the main office.

  • Respond to queries from clients, staff, citizens, and stakeholders.

  • Procurement of agency supplies and services.

  • Generate, transcribe, and edit communications, documents and reports.

  • Make the office environment a safe, positive, enjoyable place for people to visit and work.

  • Assume responsibility of office equipment, including phones, computers, copiers, etc.

  • Occupational Health and Safety coordination responsibilities.

  • Other duties that support day-to-day operations.

Education and Credentials:

  • This position requires a high school diploma. Completion of an undergrad degree, a recognized administrative program, and/or equivalent experience is considered a significant asset.

  • Current (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check and Child & Family Intervention Record Check.

  • Valid driver's license and authorization to drive agency vehicles is considered an asset.
