Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards across various commercial spaces. This role is essential in ensuring a safe, hygienic, and professional environment for our clients and their customers. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is preferred, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn and contribute to a clean workspace.

Duties

  • Perform thorough cleaning of commercial facilities, including offices, restrooms, lobbies, and common areas
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
  • Sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
  • Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
  • Follow established cleaning procedures and schedules to ensure consistency
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct oneself courteously when interacting with clients and staff

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks
  • Reliable transportation is a plus for scheduled shifts
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
  • Positive attitude, punctuality, and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
