Join our dynamic team as a Commercial Cleaner specializing in apartment buildings

We have 2 locations:

1 Apartment building is near Eglinton & Chaplin - May be 2 flexible shifts per week. 4.5 hours each shift for total of 9 hours

1 Apartment building is near Keele and Dundas - 1 shift per week, 3 hours per shift

In this energetic role, you will be the driving force behind maintaining pristine, welcoming living environments for residents and visitors alike. Duties

  • Perform comprehensive cleaning of common areas, hallways, lobbies, stairwells, laundry rooms, and exterior entrances of apartment buildings.
  • Use commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums to maintain floors in excellent condition.
  • Conduct janitorial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window washing to uphold health standards.
  • Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning activities and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
  • Maintain detailed logs of cleaning schedules and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within apartment complexes or similar environments.
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
  • Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies used in large-scale facilities maintenance.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines rigorously while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Prior porter or facilities maintenance experience is a plus, especially if it includes general upkeep tasks.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capability to prioritize tasks effectively during busy shifts. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
