Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food service industry and a strong understanding of food safety and preparation techniques. As a Cook, you will play a vital role in creating delicious meals that meet our high standards of quality and presentation. Your commitment to excellence will help us deliver an exceptional dining experience to our guests.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Assist in the planning of menus and meal preparation schedules.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including proper storage of food items.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices.
  • Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, special events, and feedback.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is essential.
  • Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
