About the role:

As a client-focused Occupational Therapist Assistant, Physiotherapy Assistant, in this role, you will provide assessment, treatment, and support to help patients achieve independence, restore function, and successfully reintegrate into the community. Working in a collaborative healthcare environment, you will deliver exceptional patient and family experiences while applying innovative and client-centered care practices.

What you bring:

  • Completion of the combined Physical Therapy/Occupational Therapy Assistant diploma from a recognized college
  • Demonstrates a commitment to client-centred care
  • Possesses current rehab/patient care experience
  • Demonstrates skill and interest in working with individuals with varied neurological diagnoses and impairments
  • Possess an attitude of respect and sensitivity towards clients with varied backgrounds, abilities, and educational status
  • Demonstrates excellence in communication, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrates familiarity with the treatment of physical and cognitive impairment.
  • Demonstrates initiative, willingness to learn, and ability to determine innovative solutions and treatment plans
  • Demonstrates ability to work as a cohesive and collaborative team member
