What You'll Do
Assist in direct client care through implementation of Occupational Therapy and
Physiotherapy programs for clients in outpatient programs; assists in indirect client care by
preparing and organizing materials for client care; assists in providing departmental
support by organizing and maintaining supplies; documents involvement in client care;
maintains statistical data; maintains communication with all relevant staff members
regarding client care and program business; supports departmental/Centre efforts in
Quality Improvement Program activities; participates in education, orientation and public
relations, as required; maintains a safe work environment and performs other related duties,
as assigned.

Education, Qualifications and Certifications
Preferred: Graduate of an Occupational Therapy Assistant or Physiotherapy Assistant program
Minimum: College Diploma in a related field Experience and Knowledge Preferred: Extensive paediatric experience of at least 2 years in providing service to a special needs population.Maintaining and inventorying equipment experience an asset.
Minimum: Previous work experience with special needs children and/or paediatric placement during training.
