Position Overview:

The Category business process lead (BPL) leads their building services category to drive continuous improvement and support service level and store environment improvements for building services and energy solutions. They analyze and identify trends and insights, as well as collaborate to get feedback from area managers to drive results and improved service levels in stores. They support both internal and external business reviews to drive action, change and accountability. They are also responsible for the creation and management both capital and expense work orders, and the vendor compliance and execution of the work.

Key Responsibilities:     

Service Provider Management


•Build and maintain strong relationships with service providers


•Participate in internal and external business reviews, ensuring that action items are captured, documented and followed through for service level improvements


•Review and analyze service provider performance to identify trends. Partner with service providers to ensure accountability and drive performance improvements including ADR, escalations, feedback scores, etc.


•Ensure SPs have the necessary insights into performance metrics and any opportunities for improvement

Work Order Management


•Creation of capital and expense work orders within their category


•Timely and effective issuance of preventative maintenance schedules and work orders. Review of existing work orders to recommend opportunities for improvement or development of new PM work orders


•Responsible for P&L capital and expense management within their category

Skills:


•Proven experience managing projects with business process evaluation and process execution


•Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills, strong interpersonal skills, must have a high   sense of urgency, proficient in multi-tasking and strong organizational skills


•Ability to analyze data and insights to drive service level improvements for vendors or internal teams.


•Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates and various service providers


•Experience in managing cross-functional project teams to improve and implement new business processes


•Strong project management skills, with the ability to successfully manage multiple tasks concurrently


• Bilingual (English/French) is an asset

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

Reports to manager, store environment or operations manager

Travel Requirements:

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time

Physical Requirements:

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Minimum Education:

The knowledge, skills, and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or the equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job

Minimum Years of Work Experience:

Minimum of 3 years project management experience and/or retail management background with a clear understanding of Bix Box retail operations and/or maintenance and construction

Minimum Leadership Experience:

The pay range for this position is between $55, $62,000.00
