Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HVAC Service Technician to join our team. This role involves performing maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on a variety of equipment including, but not limited to furnaces, air conditioners, boilers, commercial rooftop units, etc. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience and excellent customer service skills. Duties

  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs for all preventative maintenance clientele
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues utilizing schematics and technical manuals
  • Utilize mechanical repair techniques to diagnose problems accurately and efficiently
  • Lift heavy components safely during maintenance/installation procedures
  • Interpret schematics and technical diagrams to identify issues and implement solutions
  • Able to install furnaces, air conditioners, humidifiers and water heaters in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Maintain detailed records of service performed and parts used
  • Provide detailed work orders daily for completed jobs
  • Source parts as required for projects
  • Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients
  • Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies

Qualifications

  • Minimum G2 gas certification (G-1 welcome)
  • Refrigeration license is an asset
  • Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in both commercial and residential settings
  • Proficiency in using both hand and power tools
  • Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform physically demanding tasks regularly
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
  • Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
  • Experience with assembly processes and technical diagnostics is a plus
  • Valid driver's license is required; clean driving record preferred

Good wages, company truck and benefits offered. Wage will be discussed during interview based on qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
