Group Dog Walker

Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada Sit Stay Sparkle Full time $12,000 - $18,000 per year

We're looking for an experienced, compassionate Group Dog Walker to take on approximately 2-3 group walks per week (Tues/Thurs or Mon/Wed/Fri). We usually pick up from Mount Pleasant, Fairview and Riley Park around 11am and depending on the amount of dogs, takes 1.5-3 hours. A vehicle is required for this position.

If you love dogs, understand their body language, and are committed to using Fear Free, force-free, positive reinforcement methods, we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead small group walks of up to 4 dogs
  • Transport dogs safely in your own reliable vehicle
  • Reinforce calm, confident behaviour using positive methods
  • Communicate clearly with both dogs and humans
  • Maintain safety, structure, and fun on every outing

Requirements:

  • Previous professional dog-handling or dog-walking experience is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of positive reinforcement and fear-free handling
  • Own vehicle suitable for transporting multiple dogs
  • Ability to work independently as an independent contractor
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in all weather
  • Commitment to safety and compassionate care

Bonus Points For:

  • Pet First Aid.
  • Other relevant certification
