Group Dog Walker

We're looking for an experienced, compassionate Group Dog Walker to take on approximately 2-3 group walks per week (Tues/Thurs or Mon/Wed/Fri). We usually pick up from Mount Pleasant, Fairview and Riley Park around 11am and depending on the amount of dogs, takes 1.5-3 hours. A vehicle is required for this position.
If you love dogs, understand their body language, and are committed to using Fear Free, force-free, positive reinforcement methods, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do:
- Lead small group walks of up to 4 dogs
- Transport dogs safely in your own reliable vehicle
- Reinforce calm, confident behaviour using positive methods
- Communicate clearly with both dogs and humans
- Maintain safety, structure, and fun on every outing
Requirements:
- Previous professional dog-handling or dog-walking experience is mandatory
- Strong understanding of positive reinforcement and fear-free handling
- Own vehicle suitable for transporting multiple dogs
- Ability to work independently as an independent contractor
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working in all weather
- Commitment to safety and compassionate care
Bonus Points For:
- Pet First Aid.
- Other relevant certification
