Overview

The Inventory and Warehousing Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless flow of materials from vendors to the warehouse to customer delivery. This role involves monitoring and managing inventory, analyzing demand and order patterns, coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, and maintaining alignment between customer service, and warehouse teams. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with hands-on operational follow-through to ensure Stesco delivers on its commitments to customers.

Responsibilities

Inventory Analysis and Execution:

  • Run system-generated inventory and procurement reports to identify product needs, stock overages, and excess materials, and take proactive action to remediate issues.
  • Ensure Stesco is adequately stocked to meet customer commitments by placing and confirming purchase orders with vendors for price, quantity, and delivery accuracy.
  • Support the customer service team by ensuring materials are available and customer shipping requirements are met on time.
  • Analyze historical data to identify all or any the following and provide insights for proactive forecast planning.
  • trends in customer order patterns
  • Broad seasonal fluctuations
  • Stale or slow-moving inventory

Supply Chain:

  • Maintain supplier relationships and communicate regularly to confirm on-time deliveries, reduce costs, maximize profitability, and resolve discrepancies.

Warehouse Coordination:

  • Coordinate with warehouse staff on material movements, stock locations, and cycle counts to maintain optimal organization and accuracy.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy, procurement processes, and health & safety practices in material handling areas.
  • Develop strategies to reduce carrying and minimize waste

Experience

  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in supply chain, materials coordination, or purchasing within a manufacturing or packaging environment.
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI or data visualization tools is an asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive mindset and a focus on continuous improvement

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
