Sinai Health is looking for a Finance Trainer to support our SAP (Systems, Applications, and Products in Data Processing) systems at Mount Sinai Hospital.

The SAP Finance Trainer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of the SAP S/4HANA systems. Reporting to the Finance Lead, the trainer will develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy tailored to the needs of the organization. This will include localizing, delivering, and supporting comprehensive training programs to enable end-users across the organization to effectively use SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP Finance modules, a strong understanding of adult learning principles, and a passion for empowering employees with the knowledge they need.

In This Role You Will

  • Localize pre-developed S4 HANA, training materials to ensure all content is aligned with Sinai Health workflows, terminology, policies, and internal processes
  • Deliver role-specific Instructor Lead Training and Virtual Lead Training sessions for financial end-users across areas Accounts Payable, Finance operations, Controlling and FMGM
  • Customize training content tailored to functional and role-based needs, including Training courses, Hands-on exercise and Job aids
  • Work closely with project teams to understand business processes, system design, and functional requirements to ensure alignment of training materials
  • Conduct engaging, hands-on training sessions (in-person, virtual, or hybrid) for end-users, super-users, and key stakeholders, ensuring effective knowledge transfer across all SAP Finance processes and best practices
  • Prepare and maintain training data sheets for hands-on exercises and simulations
  • Review, update, and localize job aids to ensure they reflect hospital-specific processes and workflows
  • Maintain an organized an accessible repository of all training materials, version updates, and supporting documentation on the organization LMS
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback tools, assessments, and metrics; recommend improvements where needed
  • Provide desk-side coaching, floor support, and user assistance during hypercare and post–go-live phases
  • Deliver regular progress reports, training dashboards, and insights to project leadership and management to track readiness and adoption
  • Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required

Job Requirements
Mandatory

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Education, or related field
  • 2 years of SAP training & implementation experience, with strong understanding of early adoption of the SAP S/4HANA systems

Preferred

  • SAP Trainer Certification (e.g., TPMA, ACMP, SAP); with demonstrated proficiency in SAP modules such as SAP FI/CO

Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrated experience in localizing and delivering training sessions for large-scale SAP implementation projects
  • Hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance sub-modules (e.g., Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Treasury, Bank and Cash Management)
  • Experience in applying adult learning principles and best practices in training delivery
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal & written communication skills with exceptional presentation and instructional design skills able to explain complex topics in a clear and concise manner
  • Interpersonal Skills: Empathetic and patient approach, with the ability to adapt training styles to meet diverse learning needs
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to quickly troubleshoot user issues and provide solutions during training and post-training support
  • Project Management: Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with experience managing multiple training sessions and resources simultaneously
  • The SAP Trainer will work closely with project teams, business units, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless learning experience. This position may require traveling between organizational locations for training delivery and support.
