Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. This position supports the Warehouse Shipping/Receiving Manager in daily operations and plays a key role in ensuring our warehouse runs efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate is organized, hardworking, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Receiving Shipments

· Unload trucks and other delivery vehicles.

· Inspect incoming goods against invoices, verify counts, and check for damage.

· Record and report any shortages, discrepancies, or damaged items.

Inventory Management

· Receive, verify, and stock incoming goods.

· Maintain accurate inventory records, including scanning and quantifying items.

· Monitor stock levels and report items needing reorder.

· Keep inventory organized and properly stored.

Order Fulfillment

· Pick, pack, and label products according to customer orders.

· Ensure accuracy and quality before shipments leave the warehouse.

Shipping

· Prepare outgoing orders, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.

· Load outgoing shipments onto delivery trucks safely and efficiently.

Equipment Operation

Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment (training provided if necessary).

Warehouse Maintenance

· Sweep, mop, remove debris, and ensure the workspace is clean and safe.

· Follow safety protocols and maintain an organized environment.

Teamwork & Communication

· Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily goals.

· Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal departments when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.

· Excellent reading and writing comprehension.

· Good time-management abilities and reliability.

· Physical stamina: able to lift heavy items and stand for 8–10 hours per shift.

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

· Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety practices.

· Basic math skills and comfort with computers/scanners.
