Job Overview – Operational Security Specialist

Manages day‑to‑day security operations and supports the continuous protection of IT assets and user endpoints.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Manage patching, endpoint protection, and access reviews.
  • Track incident trends and operational KPIs.
  • Support Tier 1–2 response activities.
  • Maintain compliance with operational security standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3–5 years in security operations or IT support.
  • Education: Diploma or Bachelor's in Information Technology.
  • Certifications: CompTIA Security+, Microsoft SC‑200, or equivalent.
  • Skills: Microsoft Sentinel, Intune, CrowdStrike, Nessus, SCCM, scripting (PowerShell/Bash), ITIL framework.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
