Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Front Store Clerk to join our retail team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining an organized store environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, retail experience, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with product inquiries
  • Handle cash, credit card payments, lottery and perform cash handling duties with precision
  • Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves and organizing displays
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock replenishment
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
  • Support in merchandising efforts to create an appealing store layout
  • Ensure the store maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
  • Supervise or assist in supervising other team members during shifts as needed

Qualifications

  • Previous retail sales experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills and phone etiquette for engaging with customers
  • Basic math skills for cashiering, retail math, and sales calculations
  • Experience with cash handling procedures
  • Knowledge of merchandising and stocking is beneficial
  • Friendly attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork

This position provides an engaging work environment where you can develop valuable retail skills while contributing to a positive shopping experience for our customers.
