The Westwind Liquor store is looking for a F/T or P/T individual to work as a Liquor Store Clerk. We have several locations which means there is always room for career growth We strive to promote from within, to ensure upward mobility for our employees.

Job Requirements:

- 19+ years of age
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively
- Comfortable working alone or as a part of a team
- Obtain a valid Serving It Right certificate
- Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Job Responsibilities:

- Cashier duties such as processing payments, making change, and bagging items
- Assist with customer inquiries and locating product
- Retain product knowledge and assist customers by providing recommendations
- Perform required ID checks and prevent sale of liquor and tobacco to minors, patrons without valid ID, and intoxicated patrons
- Stock, rotate, and merchandise product
- Maintain store cleanliness and perform general cleaning duties such as dusting and sweeping

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $17.10 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift

Work setting:

- Liquor store

**Experience**:

- Cashiering: 1 year (preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Serving It Right (preferred)
