We are a fast paced Cardiology Clinic, in need of someone who is either a recent graduate of a healthcare related field or someone who has gained experience and can provide proof by way of a letter(s) of recommendation etc. is preferred. However, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates strong organizational skills and willingness to learn.

Reporting To: Office Manager

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Able to professionally interact with patients, hospitals, and physician offices by telephone and e-mail.
  • Review and address incoming requests from referring physicians.
  • Must be able to strategically schedule and reschedule with the goal of optimizing efficiency and reducing patient wait time.
  • Able to work effectively and independently in a fast paced environment.
  • Must effectively adhere to and adapt to changing policies and procedures.
  • The ability to address and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner.

Qualifications& Knowledge:

  • Professional and articulate with excellent written & verbal communication
  • Ability to work collaboratively and professionally in a team-based environment
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality towards the handling of personal health information
  • College education in health sciences preferred
  • Previous experience an asset
  • Positive attitude
  • Must be proficient in MS office and be computer literate
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, good command of English language and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work varying shifts
  • Experience using ACCURO EMR is an asset

Staffing:

Maintain and adjust to staffing rotation.

Personal:

Have a cheerful, positive attitude and the ability to work effectively with others.

Job Types: Full Time, Permanent

Full-time hours: 35-40 hours per week (There is a possibility of working the occasional Saturday)

Salary: $22.00 /hr
