Cizzle Brands is seeking a Business Development Representative, responsible for generating new revenue for the manufacturing plant by identifying, pursuing, and securing new customers. Owns the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification through quoting, negotiation, and contract close, working closely with Operations, Quality, and Finance to ensure opportunities align with plant capabilities and profitability targets.

Key Objectives

  • Grow plant revenue through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Build a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities aligned to plant capabilities and capacity.
  • Secure profitable agreements that support utilization, margin targets, and long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and solicit new customers through outbound outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Qualify opportunities, lead discovery meetings, and coordinate customer visits and plant tours.
  • Develop and present proposals and RFQ/RFP responses with cross-functional input.
  • Negotiate pricing and commercial terms, support contract execution and customer onboarding.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline activity, and forecasting; provide regular reporting to leadership.
  • Identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and support long-term customer relationships.
  • Participate in trade shows.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience

Required:

  • Post-secondary education in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 7+ years
    of B2B sales/business development experience (manufacturing/industrial/CPG or related preferred).
  • Experience in the beverage industry is a preference.
  • Proven track record of prospecting and closing new business.
  • Demonstrated leadership capability, initiative, and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships across all levels and with external stakeholders.
  • Committed to team collaboration and to developing finance team members through effective coaching.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to gather, analyze, and synthesize data into concise and meaningful reports.
