Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support and assistance to clients in their homes. This role involves delivering personalized care to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, those with disabilities, or patients recovering from illness. The ideal candidate will have experience in assisted living, patient care, or nursing home environments and possess a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for others through compassionate caregiving.

Duties

  • Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide medication administration as prescribed and monitor health conditions
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
  • Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental and emotional well-being
  • Document care provided and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals
  • Assist with hospice care or dementia care as needed, ensuring dignity and respect at all times

Requirements

  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings preferred
  • Knowledge of patient care, senior care, hospice care, dementia care, and working with people with disabilities
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required for mobility assistance
  • Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate attitude towards clients of all ages
  • Ability to handle medication administration accurately and responsibly
  • Excellent communication skills and patience when working with vulnerable populations
  • Valid driver's license may be preferred for travel between client locations
  • Must be reliable, respectful, and committed to providing high-quality care in a home setting

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $19.30-$27.28 per hour
