Job Summary

The Project Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and supporting the project. This includes day-to-day coordination and control activities for all cross-functional project work throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Accountability/Responsibilities

Liaise between members of the cross-functional project teams through all stages of the project.

Coordinate project resource assignments as required. Coordinate reallocation of hours and tracking changes in the change log.

Attending project status meetings. Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the client and project team.

Identify and communicate any project scope or schedule changes to the PMO team.

Assist the Construction team with the creation and sharing of work plans and project timelines.

Work with the Construction Manager in the management of the Operational policy and procedure documents and workflows.

Project Administration

  • Maintain Project Information in our document management systems
  • Processing of approved test results and distribution to Document Control
  • Support the Project teams for other project-related documents

Timesheet Administration

  • Reconciliation of DFR and timesheets
  • Generation of daily LEMS, tracking approval status, and return for billing purposes
  • Monitor Task and Hour allocations and act on overages when necessary
  • Administer project close-out activities when the project is complete

General Administration

  • Tracking Safety stats for subcontractor
  • Receive and stage materials
  • Additional operational administrative support duties, as requested

Work with the Construction and Accounting Managers in the administration of corporate assets (manage and issue equipment for calibration). Maintain a list of the assets and ensure equipment/tools are replaced/repaired as required.

Adheres to and enforces all company policies and procedures

Adheres to and enforces all HSE policies and procedures

Manage and distribute the customer Stewardship reports

Coordinate Change Order and project status activities

Maintain a valid driver's license

Skills and Knowledge

Demonstrated understanding of full-cycle project management.

Strong communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills.

Proven ability to work both independently and as a team.

Ability to analyze and make appropriate decisions, with the ability to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.

Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills within a high-pressure work site environment.

Post-secondary education degree, and a minimum of 4-6 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

In-depth knowledge of MS Office Suite products with advanced knowledge of Excel.

Ability to produce, read and manipulate schedules and scheduling curves/reports is an asset.

Applied knowledge of cost engineering/cost control is an asset.

Willingness for continuous learning and advancement of project management knowledge.

Detail-oriented.

Must possess valid G driver's license and have access to a vehicle.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
