Job Description: Ethnic / Traditional Fashion Designer & Consultant Cum Sales Associate

We are seeking an experienced and creative Indian Ethnic/ Traditional Fashion Designer & Consultant Cum Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. This dual-role position combines design expertise, customer service, and sales skills to ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Indian ethnic fashion Wear , strong design skills, and the ability to engage with customers to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fashion Design & Consultation:
  • Create fashion illustrations/ sketching and designs using design software for both male and female clothing collections.
  • Provide styling advice and recommend the best ethnic fashion options to customers based on their preferences, body type, and requirements.
  • Assist in the customization of garments according to customer needs and measurements.
  • Customer Interaction & Service:
  • Take accurate customer measurements to ensure the perfect fit for tailored and custom garments.
  • Guide customers in selecting products that align with their personal style and occasion.
  • Offer expert advice on fabric types, color combinations, and garment care.
  • Collaboration & Coordination:
  • Work closely with the production team to ensure that customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate the customization process and communicate customer preferences to the production team.
  • Sales & Retail Operations:
  • Help customers find and select products, offering personalized styling recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor, ensuring products, signage, promotions, and displays are well-presented.
  • Operate cash registers, process transactions, and manage financial exchanges in a timely manner.
  • Monitor and check stock levels, assist with inventory management, and ensure that stock is replenished as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Prior experience in retail sales and customer service, with a focus on fashion or ethnic wear.
  • proficiency in design software/ sketching artist (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) for clothing illustration and creation.
  • Solid understanding of garment construction, fabric types, and ethnic fashion trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and understand their needs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when taking measurements and processing orders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members and coordinate between sales and production departments.
  • Organizational skills to maintain inventory and ensure the efficient operation of the store.
  • A passion for ethnic fashion, creativity, and a keen eye for style.

Social Media & Online Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with social media platforms, content creation and online marketing strategies to help build and enhance the brand's digital presence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or diploma in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Previous experience in fashion sales and custom tailoring.
