Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Finance Officer to join our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support organizational growth and stability. This role requires a strong understanding of financial principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly. The Finance Officer will play a key role in ensuring compliance with financial regulations and contributing to the development of effective financial strategies.

Duties

  • Develop and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to align with organizational goals
  • Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses for management review
  • Monitor cash flow, investments, and expenditure to ensure fiscal responsibility
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and internal policies
  • Collaborate with auditors during audits and facilitate the preparation of audit documentation
  • Implement financial controls to safeguard company assets
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations for decision-making processes
  • Manage financial risks by analyzing market trends and economic conditions
  • Support the development of internal financial policies and procedures

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role within a corporate environment
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly to stakeholders
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; advanced degrees or certifications such as CPA or CFA are a plus
  • Prior experience in strategic planning and risk management is desirable
