Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Officer to join our dynamic finance team. As a member of our Finance Team you will work directly with the sales team, customer and financial institutes to prepare automobile sales contracts.

As a Financial Officer you will:

Work directly with the customer to arrange for financing and to finalize purchases, presenting to him or her the extended service contracts and other owner protection programs during the completion of the sales contract.

Review customer's credit applications for complete information and accuracy, match customers to suitable financial sources, and follow up with customers and lending institutions.

Establish and maintain a strong work relationship with lenders and financial institutions and work to understand their lending procedures.

Be responsible for knowledge and enforcement of the legal ramifications that impact this department.

Work closely with sales team and with the accounting team members and be familiar with the the procedures in both of these departments.

The ideal candidate will have 1 year previous experience, excel in customer relations, have strong communications skills, keen attention to detail, be highly organized, and possess a high level of integrity. The candidate will have the ability to mange time, customers and work load in an efficient manner.

This is a job share position: working a week on and a week off, Wed to Tuesday, including Saturdays as well as some holiday coverage. We offer a competitive wage plus commission.
