Leisure Travel Advisor- On-Site

As a key member of the Leisure Sales team, the Leisure Travel Advisor will be responsible for managing clients' trips from trip inspiration to trip conclusion.
This role will work closely with a team of travel professionals and report to the Regional Manager.
In-office position in Cambridge, ON.
Expedition Expectations
- Provide leisure travel sales by building a clientele of new and existing business
- Have a keen sense of customer service, surprising and delighting clients
- Problem solve and advocate for clients with our suppliers.
- Build a client base through Virtuoso marketing, local events, and personal networking
- Sell DT strategic supplier products
- Plan detailed multi-country itineraries, analyze different air routing for price and schedule and arrange travel accommodations and services
- Research and provide solutions to client travel-related problems
- Provide excellent customer services to internal and external clients
- Continued education via Virtuoso Travel Academy, internal programs, and travel
- Follow design templates to create client documents for before, during, and after trips.
- Comfortable in a sales environment with strategic sales goals.
Passport to Success
- 2+ years travel agency or travel advising experience an asset
- TICO certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- Demonstrated professional customer service skills
- The capability of maintaining a favorable company image when interfacing with outside sources
- Proven pursuit of learning and self-development
- Ability to demonstrate personal and organizational integrity
- The capability of working in a team environment supporting management and staff, following policies, providing feedback, assisting in special projects, and taking on additional responsibility
- Effective oral and written communications skills
- Organizational skills that result in high productivity
- Must be able to lawfully work within Canada

Requirements:
- 5+ years leisure industry experience.
- 3+ years GDS (Apollo or Sabre) experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent business education preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- GDS Experience with Apollo or Sabre
- Demonstrated professional customer service skills
- Ability to work nights and weekends when needed
- Capability of maintaining a favorable company image when interfacing with outside sources
- Proven pursuit of learning and self-development
