Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Xero
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections
  • Perform account reconciliations for bank statements and general ledger accounts
  • Conduct detailed account analysis to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
  • Assist with payroll processing and related reporting requirements
  • Support budgeting activities by providing accurate financial data and analysis
  • Prepare financial reports for management review
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
  • Collaborate with auditors during financial audits to provide necessary documentation and explanations

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Senior Bookkeeper, with a strong understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QBO and Xero is essential
  • Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliation
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes and financial reporting standards is preferred
  • Relevant certifications or degree in Accounting or Finance are a plus

This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to our financial operations while working within a collaborative team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
