As an Account Representative at Norgen Biotek, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth and establishing strong customer relationships.

*Please note: pay will be commensurate with experience*

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and target markets within the life sciences industry.
  • Generate new leads and qualify prospects through outbound prospecting activities, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline by accurately tracking activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in CRM systems.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and product knowledge to effectively position Norgen Biotek's offerings.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the sales process.
  • Handling administrative tasks such as generating quotes and processing orders
  • Additional tasks as directed by the supervisor or manager

Qualifications:

  • An undergraduate degree in Life Sciences (Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Genetics, etc.) is required for this role.
  • 12+ months of relevant experience (customer service/B2B sales) is required.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and CRM tools would be an asset
  • Strong written and oral communication
  • Willingness to learn
  • Ability to adapt to changing environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage and build relationships with customers
  • Detail-oriented and able to stay focused for extended periods
