Overview

Seeking a creative studio coordinator for an interior design studio.

We are looking for a candidate who has a keen design eye, is up to date with trends and has a creative flair.

This candidate will work together with two interior designers on multiple medium to large scale projects.

This role offers an engaging environment for a motivated professional eager to make a significant impact within a small creative studio setting while utilizing their creativity in interior design and product management.

Responsibilities

  • Sourcing product, collecting and organizing samples, placing orders, tracking orders and manage deliveries.
  • Managing the entire staging process once projects are completed and as we prepare to hand over a turnkey project. Taking the lead in ensuring that all furniture, window treatments, accessories, wall art and essentials are delivered and installed - leaving our clients with a pristinely completed, picture perfect home.
  • Coordinate with design team on branding, content creation, and promotional materials aligned with marketing objectives.
  • Manage budgeting processes and act as the primary contact for vendor inquiries and coordinate FF&E orders and deliveries.
  • Support the design team with digital and physical file management, ensuring all presentations and project documentation are meticulously organized.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and trade partners alongside the design team.
  • Liaise with all vendors managing all orders while working side by side with the design team and clients ensuring that all aspects of each and every project is managed and on track.

Experience

  • 1+ years experience in an interior design retail environment, an interior design firm or a decorating studio.
  • Experience in retail (post or pre graduation) and has experience working with clients, managing difficult situations, with the poise and composure required in order to maintain the standards of our studio.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva, AutoCAD, Sketchup and 3D rendering tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage projects from conception through execution while managing multiple priorities effectively together with the design team.
  • Highly organized and adaptable within a fast-paced creative workflow.
  • Professional demeanour with the ability to navigate logistics hurdles, such as delays, damages, backorders and scheduling conflicts with efficiency and professionalism.
  • Ability to multi task.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 28 per week

Work Location: In person
