Marketing and Events Coordinator

Humaniti is a non-profit dedicated to helping change lives around the world. Humaniti is seeking an organized, flexible and eager student to join the team as a Marketing/Event Coordinator intern. The Marketing/Event Coordinator will support Humaniti's communications team, clients, and executive members by coordinating all internal and external projects.
**Responsibilities & Duties**:You will be working alongside the Creative Director, Account Executive, and other team members on effectively managing marketing-related tasks and coordinating events. As Marketing/Event Coordinator, you will play a key role in facilitating campaigns, and will act as a liaison between different members of the team to help ensure deadlines are met.
- Have a thorough understanding of the client and target audience(s).
- Curate effective digital marketing campaigns to increase authentic engagement and outreach.
- Maintain knowledge about current events and pop culture trends to leverage through content.
- Organize and coordinate vendors for events, and schedule move-in processes. -Work within budget to ensure that clients receive quality events.
- Create innovative graphics for a number of digital marketing campaigns and projects, for various platforms.
- Manage timelines and prioritization of workload, and know when to ask for direction. -Work autonomously and develop high-quality concepts with mínimal instruction or supervision when required.
- Manage day-to-day social media marketing across multiple accounts to grow customer awareness (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
**Required Qualifications**:
- Currently in a Bachelor’s degree program in Marketing, Advertising, Business
Administration or a related field.
- Proficiency and up-to-date knowledge of core software such as; Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- You have a good sense of aesthetics and design, making sure content is on-brand and visually pleasing.
- Ability to work well with others and individually.
- Highly organized and efficient.
- A key understanding of the client revision process, communication skills, and working through revisions diligently.
- You are a flexible and self-motivated individual.
- Ability to pay attention to details while still being able to see the big picture
