Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels valued and well taken care of.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
  • Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart to optimize table turnover.
  • Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
  • Answer phone calls with professionalism, assisting with reservations and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor dining area for cleanliness and readiness, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Assist in training new staff members on guest services and restaurant protocols.
  • Utilize POS systems, including Micros POS, for order entry and payment processing as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred.
  • Strong background in food service or restaurant experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
  • Familiarity with phone etiquette and handling customer inquiries effectively.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
