We are currently seeking friendly and professional individuals to join our team as full-time Hosts/Hostesses at Nobu Restaurant, Toronto. In this essential role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, welcoming them to the restaurant with warmth and hospitality. **Responsibilities**:

- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and welcoming demeanor, providing an exceptional first impression and setting the tone for their dining experience.
- Manage the reservation system, including seating assignments, table availability, and guest inquiries, to ensure efficient seating and optimal guest flow.
- Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus, and providing information about daily specials, promotions, and restaurant offerings.
- Anticipate guest needs and preferences, making recommendations and assisting with menu selections to enhance the dining experience.
- Coordinate with Servers, Captains, and Management to ensure smooth communication and coordination throughout service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the host/hostess station and waiting area, including tidying menus, arranging seating, and replenishing supplies as needed.
- Manage guest waitlists during busy periods, providing accurate wait time estimates and effectively communicating with guests to manage expectations.
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a courteous and professional manner, resolving issues promptly and escalating to management as needed.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as answering phones, taking reservations, and processing payments, to support the overall operation of the restaurant.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a host/hostess or customer service role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Strong organizational abilities, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and demeanor, with a polished and well-groomed appearance.
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm, and a passion for providing exceptional service to guests.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
