Overview:

Join the Methods Engineering team supporting the production of the De Havilland DHC Aircrafts. This role offers hands-on experience in manufacturing support, technical documentation, and digital data preparation. Ideal for students seeking real-world exposure to aerospace manufacturing processes.

This co-op placement will be from January to April, 2026. 

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings to support manufacturingCreate work instructions and annotated workbooks using CAD toolsDigitize legacy hand-drawn drawings using scanning equipment and verify against existing tools/partsUse 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA) for data preparationHandle multiple tasks with proper prioritization in a production environmentCommunicate with other departments to clarify technical details and resolve issues

Qualifications:

Enrolled in a Mechanical, Aerospace, or Manufacturing Engineering programUnderstanding of engineering drawingsExperience in CAD software.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication and problem-solving skills
