About the role

Thiess Mount Pleasant Operation is seeking Haul Truck and Multi-Skilled Operators with open cut experience and refined operating skills in Heavy Earthmoving equipment including Cat 793 Haul Trucks, Komatsu 930, D10/ D11 Dozers, 16 & 24 Graders, 994 Loaders, 777 water cart. 
 
You will be required to work on a rotating lifestyle roster 5/4 4/5 5/5 that includes day, night and weekend work.

About you

  • Proven abilities in operating heavy earth moving machinery in a mining environment
  • Current RPL/ competencies to reflect your skill-set to be provided at interview
  • Good communication skills with the willingness to be part of a high-performance team
  • Commitment to the highest safety, community and environmental standards
  • Experience in operating large heavy plant
  • Initiative and a flexible approach to work, with a proactive approach and productive mindset
  • Ability to work to direction and be self motivated
