Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Ideal candidates will have experience in the food industry, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to food safety standards. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in food handling, serving, and customer interaction within a dynamic setting.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist with their orders in a courteous manner
  • Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety guidelines
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation
  • Handle food safely, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and cleanliness
  • Take orders at the counter or via POS systems, process payments accurately
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and service equipment
  • Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Follow all health and safety regulations related to food handling and service

Requirements

  • Previous experience in restaurant or food service roles is preferred
  • Knowledge of food industry standards, including food safety and handling protocols
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to serve efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with food preparation and serving techniques is advantageous
  • Hospitality background or barista experience is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety standards in all tasks

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: From $15.65 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
