We're adding to our team in St. John's, NL, and are looking to hire an Upholsterer who wants to be on the cusp of innovation in working with PAL Technical Services.

As an Upholsterer your main duty will be to carry out upholstery operations on aircraft interiors. You will also be responsible for, but not limited to, the fabrication, installation and repair of upholstery for aircraft galleys, dividers and other furnishings, including aircraft seats and interior furnishings, walls and other interior areas.

Duties and Responsibilities:

A diverse position requiring skills to fabricate, repair/replace and maintain aircraft interiors including carpet and flooring installs, lay out, cut and sewing of materials/fabrics for seat covers and curtains, cutting of foams and backings for seat cushions/seat assemblies, install of paddings and underlays. The covering of aircraft dado panels with  new fabric and replacing of aircraft sidewall/ceiling panels with new laminates (Tedlar) would be a particular asset.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year Upholstery experience, supported by Education or equivalent.Meticulous attention to detail.The ability to provide results and meet deadlines is an absolute must.
