Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Retail Sales Representative to join our team in Moncton, NB. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and customer service, with a keen interest in building materials and construction products. You will play a key role in supporting our clients, processing orders, and maintaining positive relationships with contractors, builders, and walk-in customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Provide product knowledge, technical information, and support to customers.
  • Prepare quotes, process sales orders, and coordinate delivery or pickup.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock organization.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with customers to encourage repeat business.
  • Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Stay current with product offerings, pricing, and industry trends.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and effectively.
  • Participate in showroom maintenance and merchandising.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in sales, business, or construction is an asset.
  • 7 Months - 1 year of retail or customer service experience; experience in the building materials or construction industry is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read blueprints and understand construction terminology (preferred).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP or POS systems is a plus.
  • Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse/showroom environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.43-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
