We are currently looking for a full time Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. You will be joining a dynamic team atmosphere, with multiple company events throughout the year. The ideal candidate will have completed post-secondary education in Business Accounting. Equivalent level of experience and/or other related education may be considered. To be the right fit for this position, you will also have:

  • Strong Data Entry Skills
  • Proficiency in Advanced MS Excel (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions).
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors.
  • Analytical nature, with problem solving skills

Position duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain Accounts Payable Email: Review and process/enter incoming invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
  • Match invoices and review receiving documentation.
  • Prepare payments for processing.
  • File, organize and maintain records as required.
  • Monitor payment activity, track outgoing payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Vendor Communication: Correspond with vendors regarding billing and payments.
  • Expense Coding: Code financial documents appropriately for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Providing Support to the Accounting Supervisor.
  • Other Administrative Duties and coverage as required.
