As we continue to expand our operations, we are looking for a motivated and organized Junior Dispatcher to join our team.

Job Description:

As a Junior Dispatcher at W.O Stinson, you will play a crucial role in coordinating the scheduling and dispatching of our fleet to ensure the timely delivery of goods. You will work closely with our dispatch team to gain hands-on experience in the Fuel/Propane industry and develop valuable skills for your career growth. Full Time hours and Office On-Call Rotation required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in scheduling and dispatching drivers to various locations.
  • Communicate with drivers to provide route instructions and updates.
  • Monitor vehicle locations and update status in real-time.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
  • Assist in resolving any operational issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize dispatch processes.
  • Office On-Call Rotation as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in using dispatch software (training will be provided).
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Previous experience in dispatching or logistics is a plus but not required.
