JOB OVERVIEW
The Sales Coordinator plays a key role in supporting LandSolutions' business development and marketing operations across both Canadian and U.S. markets. This position provides the organizational and analytical backbone for business development (BD) activities—ensuring CRM accuracy, coordinating events and outreach, conducting market research, and aligning communications across the organization. The Sales Coordinator enables efficiency, collaboration, and insight-sharing across BD teams, ensuring that leaders and seller-doers have access to accurate data, actionable intelligence, and effective client engagement support.
This position offers flexibility and can be based in Calgary, the Greater Toronto Area (GTA), Houston, Phoenix, or other locations across Canada and the U.S. Hybrid and remote work arrangements are available.
RESPONSIBILITIES
CRM & DATA MANAGEMENT
- Maintain and optimize CRM to ensure accurate lead tracking, pipeline visibility, and reporting consistency across Canada and the U.S.
- Ensure timely and complete data entry for all BD activities, including meetings, opportunities, follow-ups, and contact managements
- Generate regular dashboards and reports to support leadership decision-making and pipeline forecasting.
EVENT & CONFERENCE COORDINATION
- Coordinate logistics for BD meetings, conferences, industry events, and outreach campaigns.
- Manage conference registrations, booth logistics, and coordinate with Marketing on collateral needs and materials preparation, and pre/post-event communications.
- Capture and enter event-related intelligence and new contacts into CRM for follow-up.
MARKET RESEARCH & INTELLIGENCE
- Conduct market research to identify upcoming opportunities, procurement notices, and emerging industry trends.
- Monitor competitor activities and compile summary insights for BD Leads and business unit leaders.
- Support the BD team with prospecting research and lead qualifications.
COLLABORATION & COMMUNICATION
- Support communication between BD, Marketing and Operations by coordinating timelines, gathering information, and sharing updates.
- Assist with scheduling, tracking requests, and ensuring BD and Marketing teams have the information they need for campaigns and events.
- Monitor internal requests and follow up to keep tasks on track.
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPI)
- CRM data completeness and accuracy.
- Number and quality of BD events and conferences coordinated.
- Timeliness and relevance of market research insights shared.
- Meeting deadlines and supporting BD Leads efficiently.
- Number of tracked touchpoints, follow-ups, and new contact entries in CRM.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in sales coordination, business development support, or marketing operations.
- Experience in professional services, energy, infrastructure, or land-related sectors is an asset.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with diverse teams across borders.
- High proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), and event management tools.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to accuracy and detail.
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Occasional travel within Canada and the U.S. for events or meetings.
