Responsibilities and duties :
- Participate in the development of new patient lifts in accordance with the product development process (PDP) and regulatory requirements;
- Collaborate with members of other departments to facilitate the transfer of new products into production;
- Optimize and advise on assembly methods for new products;
- Review drawings and technical specifications to ensure the feasibility of putting parts into production;
- Liaise with parts suppliers regarding engineering requirements and specifications;
- Approve the technical review of new products;
- Contribute to the documentation review of new products;
- Support the development and installation of production test benches;
- Perform software validation on production test benches;
- Support software validation of test benches at suppliers;
- Develop documentation related to production launch projects.
Requirements :
- University degree or college diploma in electrical engineering, combined with 5 years of experience related to the position in a manufacturing company or any relevant experience;
- Proficiency in English 4/5, as you will frequently be required to communicate with other R&D sites to share best practices related to your projects;
- Knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes;
- Knowledge of electronic component testing;
- Strong communication skills and ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships;
- Ability to solve complex problems and implement corrective actions;
- Rigorous approach to documentation;
- Ability to organize, plan, manage priorities, and communicate them;
- Autonomy and ability to work in a team.
