We are currently seeking a highly skilled, safety-focused, and service-oriented Pilot (PIC) to operate our Falcon 50 and Citation 550 series aircrafts. This is a full-time, permanent position that plays a key role in supporting our business and research operations. Aviation is an integral part of our organization, and our pilots contribute both to flight operations and to research and development activities.
The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to operational safety and customer service. Responsibilities include aircraft management, flight planning and tracking, scheduling, stocking, and ensuring the highest standards of hospitality and organization. Typical travel requirements are fewer than 90 days per year.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Safely operate company aircraft (Falcon 50 and Citation 550 series aircraft) in compliance with all Transport Canada and FAA regulations.
- Ensure strict compliance with regulations, company policies, checklists, and best practices.
- Prepare and execute detailed flight plans, ensuring efficiency, safety, and punctuality.
- Maintain aircraft cleanliness, organization, and readiness at all times.
- Manage flight records, maintenance coordination, and operational documentation.
- Provide exceptional hospitality and service to passengers, reflecting OSI's professional standards.
- Collaborate with the Chief Scientist and other executives to support company operations and travel needs.
- Demonstrate a strong customer-focused approach, professional presentation, and excellent first-impression skills.
- Exhibit physical readiness, including occasionally moving objects up to 80 pounds.
- Responsible for end-to-end aircraft oversight, including flight scheduling, maintenance coordination, regulatory compliance, and recordkeeping through CAMP systems.
- Ensure the aircraft remains clean, up to date, and consistently ready for safe, seamless operation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- A minimum of 3,500 total logged flying hours.
- A minimum of 1,500 hours in multi-engine aircraft.
- A minimum of 500 hours in turbo fan or turbo jet aircraft.
- Preferably 50 hours or more on Falcon 50.
- Preferably 50 hours or more on Citation 550 series aircraft.
- Corporate flight experience with an emphasis on safety, professionalism, and customer care.
- A U.S. pilot's licence or the ability to convert an existing licence to a U.S. licence.
- Clean flight record with a demonstrated commitment to safety and professionalism.
- Strong knowledge of aviation regulations, flight planning software, and modern avionics systems.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities.
- Fantastic organization and customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a focus on exceptional passenger experience.
- Ability to travel as required (typically fewer than 90 days per year).
Compensation:
- Annual Salary: CAD $135,000 – $150,000, commensurate with experience.

- No flying December 23–26 and December 30–January 2
