About This Role:

The Manager, Pricing and Promotions drives profitable growth by centralizing GT's pricing strategy and deliver promotional planning efficiencies across all divisions simultaneously and across all channels (print/digital flyer, loyalty, in-store).

Workplace Arrangements:

This role will follow a hybrid remote/onsite schedule. Applicants for this role can expect to work on-site from our Ottawa Head Office, on Walkley Road 2 days a week for an 8:00am - 5:00pm schedule with a one-hour lunch.

This role is a full-time contract opportunity. The contract will run from date of hire to October 30, 2026.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Pricing & Promotions -- execute centralized GT pricing strategy and realize promotional GM$ recapture/growth; support price index reporting and action plan development to achieve company objectives

• Achieve center of excellence through: price perception management, optimize promotions through predictive promotional modeling, integrate promotional planning as an input into Category & GTM plans

• Collaborate with key stakeholders (merchants, marketing team, franchise operations, store owners & managers) on promotional planning and price management processes to reduce complexity and improve efficiencies

What You'll Bring

• Undergraduate Degree or Diploma in similar or related field.

• 8+ years of experience in a similar capacity

• MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Similar work experience in retail environment preferred.

• Solid experience with leading a team, coaching, developing and empowering direct reports through high-touch leadership skills

• P&L and Budget management required.

• Strong analytics, reporting and creative problem solving skills. Ability to draw conclusions and make recommendations. Strong understanding of metrics and reporting.

• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task. Appreciation for a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

• Strong planning, organizational skills and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Exceptional leadership skills with ability to influence cross-functional partners.

Assets You May Have

• Bilingual (English/French) as this role will communicate with store leaders in both English and French.
