Job Summary

Mprint Sign and Print Solutions Inc. is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Prepress Technician and Graphic Designer to join our creative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing print-ready files, managing color accuracy, and ensuring high-quality output for a variety of print projects. You will combine technical expertise with creative skills to produce compelling visual designs that meet client specifications and production standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of graphic design, print production, and quality control in a fast-paced environment. As a member of our production team, the Prepress Technician and Graphic Design is responsible for file preparation and design for all areas of sheetfed printing and wide format print.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Interacting with customers to create and design based on project requirements

· Preparing customer supplied files for production

· Typesetting & Proofreading

· Conceptualization and design for all production areas including social media

· Copywriting

· Operating sheetfed binding equipment such as folder and guillotine cutter

· Assist with special projects as required

· Sheetfed and/or wide format hand finishing as required

· Serving Mprint customers on site by maintaining the high level of service Mprint customers expect including interactions in person, phone and email

· General cleaning and organizing to maintain safe and efficient areas

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Proficiency in using Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as Indesign, Illustrator and Photoshop

· Organized file management

· Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

· Experience with vinyl and vehicle wrap file prep and design

· Comfortable working with measuring tools and basic math skills

· Ability to multi-task

· Enjoy continuous learning

WORKING CONDITIONS & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

· The hours for this position are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Some overtime may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
