Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mortgage Agent to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through the mortgage process, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring that all financial transactions are handled efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a solid understanding of financial services, enabling them to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in understanding mortgage options and processes, providing guidance tailored to their individual needs.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients to gather necessary information for mortgage applications.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions with lenders to secure the best possible mortgage solutions for clients.
  • Manage client relationships through excellent customer service, ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout the mortgage process.
  • Conduct thorough cash management and financial assessments to determine client eligibility for various mortgage products.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, lending regulations, and financial services to provide informed advice.
  • Collaborate with other professionals in the real estate industry to facilitate successful transactions.

Skills

  • Proficient in English with strong communication skills; proficiency in French or other languages is a plus (bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply).
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Strong negotiation skills to advocate effectively for clients during the mortgage process.
  • Solid understanding of financial services, including cash management principles and practices.
  • Strong mathematical skills to accurately assess financial documents and calculations related to mortgages.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
