LOOK NO FURTHER We're hiring motivated Mortgage Underwriters to join our mortgage team of closers.

- Someone experienced in underwriting who is looking for a permanent part time position with base pay plus commission for each file.
Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Application intake/deal quoting
- Work with fulfillment officers to collect outstanding documents to satisfy conditions as per the commitment
- Following up with all parties and aspects of the process to ensure 100% coordination
- Loan-to-value analysis
- GDS/TDS cash flow review
- Review of Purchase & Sale Agreements, order Appraisals, and ability to review Appraisal report in detail
- Collect and verify Mortgage applications, credit reports, income documents for completeness and accuracy
- Familiarity with Income Documents (T4, T1, NOAs...)
- Represent the Company at conferences, conventions, and other networking events
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, lenders, and 3rd party contacts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $39,000 guaranteed part time hourly plus commission for each file total compensation can easily be over $100,000.00+
Schedule:
- Tuesday to Friday
Experience:
- underwriting: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- FSRA license (preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid, 3 days in office per week.
